![]() ![]() This is my own played and completely edited run that excludes deaths, mistakes and long lo. Final Fight: Streetwise is a 3D beat 'em up Final Fight game. This was an idea probably inspired by Street Fighter II. It is a non-canonical sequel to the original Final Fight developed by the American team of Capcom Production Studio 8 (the developers of Final Fight Revenge ). Contents 1 Gameplay 2 Story 3 Characters 4 Development 4. Use a combo against Handsome Bob by combining it with Instinct mode, then finish him off with a powerful blow and walk away before he gets up and tries to punch. (You can even find Chun Li munching in noodles in the background of Hong Kong.)Īnd you get differently designed enemies to beat up, but their movement patterns make it all too obvious whom from the first game they replace. The only major villains who make a comeback in name and appearance are Andore and Rolento (although the latter loses the final “o”). The new bosses this time actually don’t have much in terms of “boss qualities” to them – they chiefly feel just like strong ordinary enemies with grossly inflated health bars, no special tactics or interesting weapons. On the other hand that also makes them less unfair than their predecessors from the first game. The most “exciting” change to the game engine are some sections where stages scroll vertically. Weapons are also still there, but for some reason have become surprisingly rare. All this featuring the same stiff-yet-tight game mechanics. The Stiffs Guards is the elite fighting guard of Devin Aranoc in Final Fight: Streetwise. Even the bonus rounds are essentially the same, only replacing the window panes with burning barrels. They take after their boss with their no-nonsense approach and efficient handling of 'business matters'. Kyle and Cody face several of them in Vanessa s bar in the beginning of the game, where The Stiff captures Cody. That's my review of this Great game and many reason's why to pick this game up.Still fun, but in comparison to Sega’s rip off series Streets of Rage (which was coming out around the same time), it feels a bit thin. And if you have played any of the Alpha Street Fighter games? Then you all know that certain Final Fight characters have been part of the Alpha Street Fighter game series as well. Play all day and all Night!Īs a Street Fighter game fan myself i got this game for many reason's. ![]() The game h as many hidden features and many things to look for and do. So for you older adult players this game is one to pick up and play and play again. Of course this game is rated M=Mature and it's not for kids to play. Now if only Capcom would do a new Street Fighter with 3-D CGI characters as Final Fight: Streetwise that would rock! Game is all in 3-D CGI and this is the best way for Capcom to do this game series as it's never been done before. And if your a Cammy fan you can see what Cammy has been doing since those days of Street Fighter. She's really came a long way since her Super Street Fighter II game Introduction all those years ago. Also if your into the Street Fighter game series? Cammy from Street Fighter also makes her apperance in this game. If your into the Final Fight game series? This game is a must for all Final Fight fans. Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-ownedįinal Fight: Streetwise With Cammy from Street Fighter! It doesn’t wear out it’s welcome at about 8 to 10 hours, if you can look past the “Final Fight” name and think of it as it’s own thing, you have the opportunity to have a real good time with it. A solid beat em up, maybe not to the technical perfection of Urban Reign, but it’s not as compartmentalized either. The controls and gameplay are spot on and there is just something satisfying of nailing a counter after a block. The story gets a little far-fetched, but it’s a video game and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. ![]() The story is great, voice acting is superb, and the soundtrack, there’s a song for everyone in the game. ![]() After about 20 tries I finally got it, but it did kind of kill the vibe of the game for a few minutes. I can get over the fact that this weird mini-game made it into the final product, most of which are completely optional, but this particular one was required to progress the story. There’s only one part in the entire game that kind of had me scratching my head…it’s a mini-game for the chef killing rats. I consider this game far better than Beatdown: Fist of Vengeance. I think the bad stigma comes from the “Final Fight” name. I took a chance on it and much to my surprise, it’s a really great game. Reading about this game you’ll find a plethora of bad and mixed reviews. ![]()
